Melodies of History - Mar. 27
Join us for a celebration of Black History with Patricia Pickett. Patty will share her original “Biographical Songs” on the lives of Bessie Smith, Ossie Davis, Ida B. Wells, and Nikki Giovanni. These songs will be accompanied by a creative slide presentation of images, words and music.
NanoDays in the Library: Activities and Demonstrations - Mar. 31 - Apr. 1
Activities and demonstrations will explore the amazing concepts of nanoscale science and engineering. NanoDays will engage people of all ages in the miniscule world where materials have special properties and new technologies have spectacular promise. NanoDays will combine simple hands-on activities for young people with events exploring current research for adults.
