City Services Academy The City Services Academy is a comprehensive hands-on learning experience that gives participants an opportunity to interact with City staff and learn about the challenges facing municipal government today, from issues impacting the Police Department to addressing how to fund large-scale improvements to the City’s storm drain system.
“R U Ready” Disaster Preparedness Classes for Residents How can you help your family and your community in the event of a disaster? Come learn how by attending this hour and half-long basic disaster preparedness class.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training Here is your opportunity to become a trained member of the City’s Community Preparedness Program. Participants in this series of classes will learn how to develop neighborhood teams and be trained in basic emergency skills.
Citizen-Police Ride-Along Program Come take a ride with the Police department and see what our Patrol Officers do on a daily basis. This is a chance to see how law enforcement impacts our community.
